Why Appreciation Matters So Much

Progressive wives’ tales claim that a child should receive feedback at a ratio of 10 positive to 1 negative.  The same could be said for the workplace.  Praise, is necessary for peak performance.  So why is it that we tend to focus on what’s wrong?
