Holiday Greetings from David and Geordie at ALG!

We've just received word that Geordie Aitken will be speaking at the American Council of Engineering Companies' (ACEC) annual fall conference. The conference is themed: “Sustainability in the Built Environment” and will be held October 19-22, 2008 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal, Canada.

Geordie's session is called “Best Practices and Lessons Learned for Growing 20-35 Year Olds.”

This Thursday, May 1, Aitken Leadership will be represented in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce has a very cool young leaders' program called Vision Forth Worth. They've invited me to conduct a session on the topic of 'Balance' (the work vs. life kind) for young professionals.

The Regency of Tanah Datar was pleased to support the 1st annual International Leadership Conference, spearheaded by Magda Dominik. Over 200 youth from all over Sumatra attended and ALG sponsored a proposal writing contest. The proposals were submitted by the youth at the end of the day, and represented a range of creative, courageous initiatives for community improvement.
